Nature of the website

This website presents Paper Lynx Games and its games. It does not process sales, payments or user accounts.

Links to Steam and other stores lead to independent services. Their own terms and privacy policies apply there.

Contact form

When you send a message we process your name, email address, topic, message content and limited security data needed to prevent abuse.

The legal basis is taking steps at your request or our legitimate interest in replying and protecting the form. A separate marketing consent is not required merely to answer an enquiry.

Data scope and security

We collect only data needed for the stated purposes. Controls include validation, restricted access, encrypted connections, hashed tokens and abuse prevention.

We do not make solely automated decisions producing legal or similarly significant effects.

Recipients and transfers

Hosting, storage, email, security and maintenance providers may receive data only as necessary to run the site and forms.

Production email is handled by Google Workspace. YouTube is contacted only after you intentionally start a video. Transfers outside the EEA require an appropriate legal basis and safeguards.

Website analytics

First-party analytics stores only aggregate views and events for sections, games, trailers, stores and forms.

It uses no session identifier, localStorage, raw IP address or full user agent. It respects DNT and GPC signals.

Cookies and external services

The public website uses only technologies necessary for form security, sessions and CSRF protection. We do not use third-party advertising or marketing cookies.

YouTube uses privacy-enhanced mode and loads only after a click. Blocking it does not restrict the rest of the site.

You can control essential cookies in browser settings. Blocking them may prevent forms from working correctly.

Retention periods

We keep data only as long as needed for the stated purposes or legal obligations.

The contact form and website content are free electronic services.

The contact service ends after the enquiry is handled.

Complaints, age and changes

Complaints may be sent to the operator public email with a problem description and reply details. We respond without undue delay, normally within 14 days.

Forms are intended for people aged 16 or over.
